VR & AR IN PRODUCT DESIGN
The ‘Innovating Virtual & Augmented Reality’ sector of Howest’s TETRA project can help Flemish enterprises work out the potential added value of immersive technologies in their field. If existing technologies are combined in a goal-oriented manner, the leap from the world of entertainment to other sectors can yield increased cost-efficiency and productivity. There are already many examples of cases demonstrating the potential of this type of technology: virtual reality training and simulation, augmented reality remote assistance and visualisation and much more.
The SIVAR stand at PROTOTYPING presents a number of Flemish businesses (such as Cadcorner, Bazookas, Artcore Society, DAE Research...) already offering solutions using Virtual & Augmented Reality technology.
